Mani Mondays - #10 Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

Sunday, 29 June 2014

A cuticle balm or butter is something that I think should be on or in everyone's bedside table, desk, or handbag; especially in the cooler months! I have been loving this earth friendly product by Burt's Bees and just had to share it with you all.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.

What Burt's Bees say:
Give your cuticles some TLC. Specially formulated, this buttery cream taps Sweet Almond Oil and Cocoa Seed Butter to moisturize and soften your cuticles while Vitamin E and Sunflower Oil nourish brittle nails. Feel pampered and polished from tips to toes.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream.

My Experience:
Pros:
  • The texture is amazing! It is creamy and buttery but not greasy - no oily residue here!
  • My cuticles are noticeably more nourished.
  • Since I have started using this I haven't had any hangnails (those horrible bits of skin that lift and peel along the sides of the nails and are really painful).
  • I love the smell! - The lemon fragrance makes it smell good enough to eat but isn't sickening or overpowering.

Cons:

  • The tin can be a little bit tricky to open.
  • Just like anything in a pot, it can get a little bit germy. Just try to use clean hands. You can also spray it with a cleansing alcohol from time to time.

Repurchase? Yes! You really cant go past the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream for healthy cuticles. I love popping it on before bed each night for moisturised and happy nails and cuticles.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream retails for $14.99 (17ml) and is available from Priceline, David Jones, Myer, and many pharmacies.

What do you use on your cuticles to keep them in check?
