Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask.

If you follow Everybeauty Talks regularly through the blog or Instagram, you would be well aware by now of my avid obsession with the Lush Cosmetics brand.

As of late I have had an obsession with face masks and do one about 2 to 3 times a week. After a visit to my local Lush store and consultation with a sales assistant I decided go grab myself a Cupcake Fresh Face Mask (I couldn't resist the smell). Lush Fresh Face Masks are made each week in Lush Kitchens and sell really quickly, so if you see one you are thinking about trying when you are in store I recommend you get it then and there.

Enough from me! Let's get into what you really want to know; what was my Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask experience?

This is me first trialling the
Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask.

What they say:
Chocolate heaven for oily and teenage skin. Its action removes excess oil and calms breakouts. Rhassoul mud cleans and soothes, linseed, cocoa butter and cocoa powder soften the skin. Balancing peppermint, spearmint and sandalwood oils complete this effective and delicious experience. Apply to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave for five to ten minutes, and then rinse away with warm water. Keep chilled.

Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask.

Pros:
  • Application is a breeze and it was easy to remove.
  • It dulled the red appearance of blemishes.
  • It was really comforting on my irritated skin.
  • My skin looks noticeably radiant as soon as I remove this. This mask would be a beautiful mask to use before a special event to make your face look more radiant and less red.
  • It smells delicious! I'm not going to lie, I did lick my face, and it doesn't taste too bad. And no, this doesn't mean I would eat it.

Cons:
  • As it is a fresh mask, it only last 3 weeks from the day of production.
  • It must be refrigerated.

If you suffer from spots, redness, or oiliness this mask is for you! If you don't, head into Lush and get the staff to consult you as to which mask is best suited for you!

Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask retails for $16.95 (75g) from Lush stores or Lush online (Lush recommends selecting the Express Post option for this product when ordering online).

Did you know?
If you take 5 full size empty containers back to Lush you can redeem them for a fresh face mask, and then do a happy dance all the way home.

Have you tried any of Lush's Fresh Face Masks?

  3. I haven't tried any fresh masks, but I do love the 'Mask of Magniminty'. It has a gorgeous smell and it does not have to be kept in the fridge :)
