M.A.C Brush Cleanser.
All my fellow brush lovers know just how important it is to regularly clean your makeup brushes. Not only does it prolong the life of your brushes (lovely if you invest in high quality brushes like myself), it also can help keep your skin in check by removing dead skin cells and bacteria from the brushes you use on your pretty little face. I use the M.A.C Brush Cleanser to regularly spot clean in between shampooing. This stuff is amazing.

Why I keep purchasing M.A.C Brush Cleanser over and over again:
  • Melts the makeup off your brushes almost instantly.
  • Disinfects.
  • Conditions brush fibres for longer-lasting brushes.
  • Affordable and much cheaper than any other quality brush cleaner I have ever purchased.

M.A.C's directions for use:

Apply to damp brushes and work through. Rinse well, reshape and lay flat to dry.

How I use my M.A.C Brush Cleanser:
What you will need:
  • Paper towel (for laying brushes on to dry and for cleaning).
  • A small clean bowl or container.
  • M.A.C Brush Cleanser.
  • Brushes that need cleaning (dry, not damp).

M.A.C Brush Cleanser.

  1. Lay out some clean paper towel on a flat clean surface to lay the brushes on post-cleaning.
  2. Pour a small amount of cleanser into the bowl.
  3. Pick up a brush and dip it into the cleanser, removing excess cleanser my pressing the brush against the side of the bowl as you take it out (I use a small amount at a time as it gets dirty from dipping lots of brushes in it otherwise).
  4. Rub the brush on a square of paper towel in delicate circular and back and forth motions, as not too damage the bristles.
  5. Reshape the brush.
  6. Lay the brush down on clean paper towel to dry. It is important not to stand the brush up to dry, as the liquid gets into the glue and eventually over time will make bristles come lose and fall out.
