Product Review: Essie Raspberry Nail Polish

Friday, 11 April 2014

Last week I was on a mission to find a deep berry coloured nail polish. I headed straight to the Essie stand at my local Priceline, as I hadn't tried Essie yet (cue gasp!). I am so glad I bit the bullet and jumped on the Essie bandwagon as my experience with the Essie Raspberry Nail Polish has been nothing but positive.

Essie Raspberry Nail Polish.

Essie Raspberry Nail Polish is a deep pinky-red berry colour. I can see myself wearing this quite a bit during the cooler months.

My Essie Raspberry Nail Polish experience:
  • Application was a breeze. The consistency of the polish is perfect. Not too runny, not too thick.
  • The colour pay off is fantastic. 2 coats provided me with an opaque streak-free coverage.
  • It took a good few days to chip. This is a big deal considering my nails chip easily and I am always using my hands at work.
  • It dried fairly quickly (always a plus).
  • It is so shiny you don't need a topcoat to provide shine. However, I always wear a topcoat anyway.

All in all Essie Raspberry Nail Polish is a great nail product. I can't fault it. No complains here, that is for sure.

One I will be doing in the near future is picking myself up some more Essie polishes (especially when they are on special).

Essie Nail Polish is available from Priceline for $16.95 (13.5ml).

What is your experience with Essie?
