March Empties 2014

Thursday, 10 April 2014

Sorry this is a little late in the month my pretties, however these are still my empties from the month of March none the less. Now, let's find out what I thought of each product and if I would repurchase!

Schwarzkopf Extra Care Dry Shampoo.
Schwarzkopf Extra Care Dry Shampoo.

I am a dry shampoo addict. This one did the job. It's nothing ground-breaking. I find myself picking these up when they are on special.

$8.99 AUD (125 grams), available from Priceline, Target, Coles, Woolworths and selected pharmacies.

Repurchase? Yes, this was my third bottle.

The Body Shop Brazilian Nut Shower Cream.
The Body Shop Brazilian Nut Shower Cream.

This stuff smells so nutty and delicious. I especially liked using this in the colder months, as it was so indulgent and warm/ sweet smelling. It's soap free and ethically sourced which is a bonus.

$12.95 AUD (250ml) available from The Body Shop.

Repurchase? Yes.

The Body Shop Milk Bath.
The Body Shop Milk Bath.

This milk powder is dreamy! Pop 1 teaspoon in a bath for silky smooth & super soft skin. This container of Milk Bath lasted me over a year and supplied me with many an indulgent bath time! One more plus is that you can add any fragranced bubble bath with this, as it doesn't have a fragrance. Who doesn't love using two amazing products at once?!

$14.95 AUD (250g) from The Body Shop.

Repurchase? Already have!

Ella Baché Huile aux Fleurs.
Ella Baché Huile aux Fleurs.

There is no denying that this floral face and body cleanser is a beautiful product. I however have been using it as bath oil. It leaves my skin moisturised and hydrated, and is a lifesaver for my dry skin in Autumn and Winter. However, as it is quite pricey for this use (not too bad if you are using it as a facial cleanser) I won't be repurchasing.

$39 AUD (110ml) Available from Ella Baché and David Jones stores.

Repurchase? No.

See and Be Seen Sasha by Benefit.
See and Be Seen Sasha by Benefit.

This fragrance is an Eau de Toilette that has great staying power. I would spray this on in the morning and find myself still smelling pretty in the evening. This is seriously impressive.

The smell? It's hard to describe, floral and fruity, with a hint of muskiness; a sharp scent (you will know what I mean post sniff).

The bottle is also stunning which is a nice little bonus.

$59 AUD for a 30ml bottle, available from Benefit.

Repurchase? Yes.

Loréal True Match Foundation.
Loréal True Match Foundation.

Those of you that would have researched this product would be aware of the positive buzz around this product. Is it worth all the hype? Yes! This really does perform like a high-end foundation.

While it is a little pricey for a drugstore foundation ($29.95 AUD for 30ml), a little bit really does go a long way. Available from Priceline, Big W, Myer, Target and selected pharmacies.

Repurchase? For sure.

Matrix Total Results Amplify Volume Conditioner.
Matrix Total Results Amplify Volume Conditioner.

This conditioner performed really well. It didn't weigh my hair down allowing my really long hair to have more volume than when I use other conditioners.

Available from Price attack, Hairhouse Warehouse, and other hair salons for $15 AUD (300ml).

Repurchase? Yes.

Have you used any of my March empties?

&
Would you/did you repurchase?

Note: All opinions are my own.

  1. I love L'Oreal True Match, I used to use it in secondary school and recently started using it again so I'm not surprised to see this in your empties! :)
