Lush Easter Haul: Having Myself a Very Lush Easter.

Thursday, 3 April 2014

I have been waiting eagerly for Lush to release their Easter range here in Australia. I've seen so many vlogger and blogger posts on the range and was getting SUPER jealous. Needless to say that after I did some research and found out their arrival date, I Easter Bunny hopped on into my closest store (yeah I went there).

Some of the Lush Easter range.

As you can imagine, as soon as I saw the range I wanted it ALL! But I showed some self-restraint (for now, anyways) and picked up just a couple of things.

Golden Egg Bath Ballistic & Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar.

I chose the super cute Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar and the absolutely stunning Golden Egg Bath Ballistic.

Gah! These are so freaking cute! I can see myself cutting these up and popping them in the bath so I can get the most out of these divine little things! And for those of you wondering, no they don't smell like carrots. That would be gross.

Back from last year, this time as a bunch of three smaller carrots, so each one can be used when it’s at its freshest. Place one (or the whole bunch) under running water to create lots of bubbles, then pop aside for another time. Fragranced with the buchu, lemon and bergamot, there’s also a little bit of nutritious carrot oil in each one, which is rich in vitamins and an extraordinary skin soother and rejuvenator.

It's going to be hard to use these cuties, but I'm sure I'll cave sooner rather than later. Grab yours for $9.95 AUD (100g).

Hey Veruka Salt (that spoilt brat from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory), I've got a golden egg and you ain't got one!

A special Easter treat inspired by chocolate cream eggs - we reverse it and coated the hard bath bomb centre with a creamy bath melt shell. The outer bath melt mix is made using our beautiful fair trade, organic, Colombian Peace Village cocoa butter and olive oil from a brand new permaculture project we’re working with in Palestine.   Scented with the best selling Honey I Washed the Kids fragrance, it’s coated with environmentally friendly golden lustre.

Although this bath melt is absolutely stunning, I must admit that I was a little frightened of all that glitter. But after smelling this, it was impossible to refuse this one. It smells like white chocolate on steroids. Almost too good!

I can't wait to use this. I imagine that I will probably cut this into 2 - 3 pieces so I get to really savour it.

The Golden Egg Bath Ballistic retails at $6.50 AUD (115g).

I can see myself heading back into Lush next pay day to pick up some more of the easter collection (fingers crossed there is some left). I am so obsessed with it all that I have even requested that my family scrap the chocolate eggs this year and hit up Lush instead.

Are you going to be dashing into Lush to pick up some of the limited edition Easter range?
