The 1 Month Beauty Spending Ban Wrap Up!

Tuesday, 18 March 2014

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Guess what! I made it! I actually went a whole month and didn't buy one thing beauty, hair or body related. The funniest thing of all? I didn't even realise I had finished (I'm such a dork).

I must admit last week totally sucked. Why? The Priceline 40% off beauty sale! I was sooooo tempted to break my ban, but considering I was so close to the end and had come so far, I was determined not to give in.

As I have been pretty sick the last few days I didn't have the energy to go out and buy anything, so I made sure I did that today (of course). However, I am trying really hard not to buy spontaneously, but to think about what I have already in my collection and if I have something similar already.

For those sticky beaks (don't worry I am one too) who want to know what the first things I went out and purchased are, I have included them below.

Products purchased were:
  • Olay Wet Cleansing Towelettes.
  • Models Prefer Retractable Eyebrow Pencil - I am obsessed with these. Check out my full review here.
  • Models Prefer Professional Crease Brush.
  • Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 foundation.

I am also going to get Illamasqua's hydra Veil this weekend too when I head into the city (it better be in stock or there is going to be tears. Not really, but still!) and I am in the market for a new face mask for combination skin (recommendations are appreciated).

Have you tried any of these products before?

I bet you could do it if you tried super hard! It's hard at first but then it becomes quite enjoyable!
