As promised, Here are my monthly favourites. Now for what made it into my August favourites!

If you are a lipstick snob and refuse to use drug store brands, just do yourself a favour this once and try Maybelline's Colour Sensational Vivids range. They are seriously impressive and for $16.95 AUD for 4.2g what have you really got to lose? One application lasts hours (even through eating and drinking sessions).
Two words: I'm hooked!
2. Benefit's Ultra Radiance Re-hydration Mist.
I love to use this multiple times throughout the day to promote hydration and refresh my makeup. This product is ideal for those who work in an office or are constantly in air-conditioned environments (as this is known to suck the water out of that pretty little face of yours). Keep it on your desk and I promise you will be reaching for this little beauty throughout the day!
Oh and did I mention how lovely it smells? It's super refreshing and fresh with hints of cucumber. Yummo.
Retails for roughly $39 AUD for 133.1ml from selected Myer stores.
3. M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish/Natural.
This stuff is amazing; I can see this product going the distance as a little but truly goes a long way. This powder provides a flawless, non-cakey and long-lasting finish. It's safe to say this powder is now a staple in my cosmetic bag and I will be repurchasing it again and again.
M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish/natural retails at $47 AUD for 10g.
4. Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Setting Brush.

Once again, a Real Techniques brush has mad the monthly favourites list. These brushes are such good value for money and deliver awesome results. You can use this brush for a range of makeup applications. I love to use it to:
- Set my concealer with powder.
- Contour around precise areas such as the nose or brow areas.
- Apply highlighter.
You can buy yours from Priceline or iHerb. I have used iHerb before and the service and delivery time has been nothing but great.
5. Hydraluron by Indeed Laboratories.
In my experience as a beauty Therapist, most people are dehydrated. Remember: Oil levels have nothing to do with hydration (these are completely two different things). It is possible to be oily and be dehydrated. Oily skin is due to oil production and hydration is related to water levels in the skin.
About $35 (AUD) for 30mls, available from Priceline.
Note: all opinions are my own.
