March Favourites

As promised, my five favourite products of the month!

1. Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

This stuff is a miracle worker! It really does deliver what it promises! I set my makeup with a few sprays of this before a big night out and my makeup is just as good as it was when I left home when I get home! Urban Decay has delivered a seriously impressive product.

Guess what? It even claims to have cooling technology to keep that pretty little face of yours nice and cool throughout the night.

You can't buy this in Australia, but I got it on beautybay.com and it was about $29 for 118ml with free delivery.

2. Bastiste Dry Shampoo - Big and Bouncy XXL Volume.

If you haven't discovered the wonderful world of dry shampoo, you're missing out. It is super convenient for refreshing your hair between washes, or on the go. I recently tried this XXL Volume dry shampoo as I generally use Batiste (and am a sucker for anything that promises extra volume). This product works! I was impressed by how much volume I got from just a light application. If you have from flat hair and want some oomph in your life, get this!

I picked this up at priceline for $13 for a 150ml can.

3. Benefit Box-O-Powder in Hoola.

Best bronzing powder ever! I can honestly say this is my holy grail of bronzers. Although its a little expensive at $51 for 8g it is pure amazingness in a box! Not only can you bronze with this, but you can contour. This is because this is a matte bronzer (shimmer bronzer is not appropriate for contouring as it reflects the shadow you are trying to create).

Hoola is really pigmented so this product is going to last a really long time. I know its weird that it comes in a cardboard box, but it is designed this way to stop the packaging shattering if you have butter fingers like me and drop it.

I will be returning to the Benefit counter to buy this time and time again!

4. Benefit Primer - The Porefessional.

This primer is for people who want to conceal pores and fine lines. It acts like a filler and smooths over the skin and leaves your skin feeling like a babies bum! Amazing! a pea-sized amount helps keep makeup on all day as it helps prevent it from sinking into the skin.

Porefessional is $53 for 22ml and is available at Benefit counters at selected Myer stores.

5. Ella Baché Eye Cream - Crème Contour Des Yeux.

The eyes are the gateway to the soul, so you need to spend money on a good eye cream to keep your peepers in check. If you like lightweight facial creams I recommend you give this eye cream a go. It is light, but still feels a little dewy and hydrating. I wear this during the day (under my makeup) and at night as part of my skin care routine.

If you're not willing to fork out $69 for 30ml head into your local Ella Baché salon, or David Jones Ella Baché Counter and get yourself a sample.

As always, feel free to leave any comments or questions! Always interested to hear of your experiences with these products.
